Go-Home Day is one of the sweetest moments in this entire journey — the day your puppy leaves our arms and enters yours. By the time your LoveBug is ready to go home at 8 weeks old, they've been loved, nurtured, and prepared for this transition with intention and care.
My goal is to make this day joyful, smooth, and stress-free for both you and your puppy.
⭐ What Your Puppy Goes Home With
Everything they need for a soft landing.
Every LoveBug puppy leaves with:
- Age-appropriate vaccines
- Deworming at 6 weeks
- Complete veterinary health record
- Embark Genetic Testing Results
- A puppy starter kit
- Food they've been eating (Exclusive Signature Chicken & Brown Rice)
- A blanket or toy with familiar scents
- 30 days of Trupanion insurance
- Lifetime support from Donna
Your puppy has been raised underfoot in our home, handled daily, and given early foundations that help them settle into your family with confidence.
⭐ What to Bring on Go-Home Day
A few simple things make the ride home easy.
To make the transition smooth, we recommend bringing:
- A crate or secure travel carrier
- A leash and collar
- Puppy pads for the ride home
- A towel or blanket
- A bottle of water for longer trips
If you're flying, I'll help you understand airline requirements and carrier sizes.
⭐ What to Expect During Pickup
Relaxed, happy, and never rushed.
When you arrive, we'll:
- Review your puppy's health record
- Go over feeding instructions
- Discuss potty and crate routines
- Answer any last-minute questions
- Take a few photos (if you'd like!)
This is a relaxed, happy time — no rush, no pressure. I want you to feel confident and excited as you begin this new chapter.
⭐ First Night at Home
Gentle, calm, and full of cuddles.
Your puppy has just left everything they've ever known. Expect:
- Lots of cuddles
- A little whining
- Frequent potty breaks
- Early bonding moments
Keep the first night calm, gentle, and predictable. Your puppy will settle quickly with love and reassurance.
⭐ Boarding Policy
$45/day after 7–10 days.
If you cannot pick up your puppy within 7–10 days after they turn 8 weeks old, a $45/day boarding fee applies.
This covers continued care, food, training, and daily handling.
⭐ Delivery Options
Flight nanny available.
We offer flight nanny delivery for families who cannot pick up in person.
All travel costs are the buyer's responsibility, and we coordinate everything to ensure a safe, comfortable trip.
